Description: EUSci is a student-run science communication group (with a few post-docs and staff thrown in for good measure) at the University of Edinburgh. We publish EUSci Magazine, produce a biweekly podcast, run a seminar series, follow local current events in science, and organize workshops and social events.
Target Audience: Adults
Who Gets Involved: Our society is made up of University of Edinburgh staff and students (undergraduate and postgraduate) and collaborators from the Edinburgh College of Art. You do not have to be an Edinburgh University student to join, but it does help if you’re based in Edinburgh.
What Could I do? Writing, editing, page layout, photography, illustrating, pod-casts, websites, organising socials and seminars…. to name but a few!
Timescale: EUSci magazine is released twice a year (more online), the podcasts come out every 2 weeks. Committment is flexible depending on how much time you can commit.
Benefits: A great way to add skills to your CV and have fun at the same time.
