The Beltane Fellowship scheme has been shortlisted for the “Outstanding Support for Early Career Researchers” category of the THE Awards.
The trophy for “Outstanding Support for Early Career Researchers” will be given to the individual, team or institution that has developed the most innovative or exemplary scheme to enhance and develop the transferable and careers skills of postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers. Our Beltane Fellowships were open to all levels of researcher staff and students, and the mix of early career researchers with more senior staff has brought about many benefits. The nomination process was made easy due to the excellent evaluation report provided by our external evaluators available here:

We’ll be tweeting live on Thursday 29 November 2012 from award ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. So be sure to follow us @edBeltane and/or @timeshighered to be first to hear if we’ll be bringing back a trophy!
Note: We are listed as “The University of Edinburgh” on the website due to THE’s policy of only naming the nominating institution, but they will refer to the Beltane Partnership on the night and in any future publications.
