Deadline 22nd April 2013
Today, we’ve issued our second call in 2012/13 for Beltane Fellows. (N.B. Our second call of 2012/13 for Beltane Parliament Fellows is also currently live.)
As with previous Beltane Fellowship calls, this one provides funding to enable academic or research staff to spend the equivalent of one day a week for up to six months working on public engagement activity. For this call, we are inviting applications on any topic, but one of the three Fellowships available is reserved for someone in the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Edinburgh working on the ‘Mathematics of Planet Earth’.
To be eligible to apply, you must be a member of academic or research staff (grade 6 or above; contract outliving the proposed Fellowship end-date by at least 6 months) at one of the four Edinburgh universities which support Beltane (The University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Napier University, Queen Margaret University or Heriot-Watt University). Previous public engagement experience is not essential.
