We are delighted to be welcoming the NCCPE Engage Conference to Edinburgh on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 November at the Assembly Rooms.
At the Conference this year, we’ll be exploring new futures for university public engagement; celebrating the NCCPE’s 10 year anniversary; and taking stock of the lessons learned. Weaving in stories from people who have been working to embed public engagement in their practice and institutions – and with provocation from outside the sector – Engage 2018 will help set the foundations for the road ahead.
The NCCPE have been working with the Beltane Public Engagement Network to curate, organise and deliver an Engage Conference with a difference. Expect all the things you love about Engage – including plenty of opportunities to network and connect with others, inspiring keynote speakers, critical analysis, and stories of excellent engagement. A new place gives us the opportunity to include some new features, including a community focused ‘poster party’, and wrap-around events with a Scottish flavour.
To help out visitors to Edinburgh, we have produced a Local’s Guide to Edinburgh, with a few pointers of places to go for coffees, drinks and treats.
More information about the conference can be found on the NCCPE website.
