Call for 2013/14 Beltane Public Engagement Fellows

Deadline 21st October 2013

Today, we’ve issued a call for four new Beltane Fellowships for 2013/14. As with previous Beltane Fellowship calls, this one provides funding to enable academic or research staff to spend the equivalent of one day a week for up to six months working on public engagement activity. For this call, we are inviting applications on any topic, but one of the four Fellowships available is reserved for someone in the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Edinburgh working on either ‘Energy and Sustainability’ or ‘Human Health’. To be eligible to apply, you must be a member of academic or research staff (grade 6 or above; contract outliving the proposed Fellowship end-date by at least 6 months) at one of the four Edinburgh universities which support Beltane (The University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Napier University, Queen Margaret University or Heriot-Watt University). Previous public engagement experience is not essential.
