Andrew Gardiner, Senior Lecturer in the University of Edinburgh’s Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, has been awarded the University’s Principal’s Medal for providing veterinary services to the pets of homeless people.
Andrew has treated the pets of homeless people in various settings, including running a clinic out of Leith’s Dundedin Canmore Hostel. A small number of students are able to accompany Andrew on his work.
