Are you planning to contribute to the Pecha Kucha session as part of the Curiosity Forest at this year’s Explorathon 2016? If so, this is your chance to hone your talk and get some tips.
In Pecha Kucha, you have 20 slides, each of which you can show for no more than 20 seconds. It is a fantastic antidote to the usual PowerPoint presentation! Pecha Kucha is a worldwide phenomenon.
The session will work best if you come with a draft of your presentation (however rough).
The workshop is led by Lisa Thompson, creator of the Curiosity Forest and an experienced freelance trainer in creativity and communciation skills. Lisa is theatrically trained, so she knows how to wow an audience!
This workshop is open to researchers working on any topic.
