Get advice from Fast Forward/Scottish Peer Education Network (SPEN) in this mini learning journey about evaluations and young people. It is aimed at practitioners from all sectors who are thinking about working with young people or do/have done a little bit. Teas and coffees will be provided. Elaine MacLennan, SPEN Coordinator, will cover the points below – but as it is casual, we can all join in the chat as we go along:

  • pre-planning: know your audience, tips for how to engaging with young people
  • recording and incorporating young people’s thinking as the project unfolds – and using this as an evidence tool for funders
  • evaluations with young people – SPEN will take us through what works for them and we’ll all have a go
  • peer-to-peer education: what is it?, examples, and how to use it to upgrade the young people’s experience and your project’s impact.
