This lunch, like our regular programme of Breakfasts and Twilights, will be an informal meeting where you can get together with people from Edinburgh’s universities to find out more and share information about specific public engagement topics.The events are open to anyone with an interest in public engagement with research – staff or student, academic or professional/support/administrative.

At our September Beltane Lunch, we’ll be talking about the NUCLEUS project with special guest speaker Heather Doran. Heather works in the Public Engagement with Research Unit (PERU) at the University of Aberdeen. Part of her role there is to help run the NUCLEUS project, a European Commission-funded project looking at best practice in responsible, ethical research. Heather Rea, Beltane Project Lead, is also currently involved with this project as a mentor.
