Get ready to compete in FameLab 2017!
Applications open shortly for this international science communication competition. Competitors get just three minutes to communicate a scientific concept accurately, clearly and charismatically. Slides are banned, and props are limited to what you can carry!
Although FameLab is a competition, the real benefits are the training, high quality feedback on your performance and a chance to meet like-minded people. Nevertheless, the chance of a cash prize and the prestige of being a FameLab winner don’t hurt!
To take part, you need to be aged 21+ and working or studying in science (including medicine), technology, engineering or maths. You cannot be a professional science communicator.
So get ready, sign up and liven up your winter with a sci comm challenge!
