Come along to this lunchtime meeting to find out more about applying for the STEAM Summer School!

STEAM is an innovative science communication summer school that marries science and art through practice. Attendees get involved with expert case studies, field trips, science slams, networking, and theatre performances.  Participants can be university students or professionals, researchers, educators, science communication practitioners, and science journalists.

There are four routes to applying to be part of the summer school:

  • Apply for a grant (University of Edinburgh staff and students only) by 27th November 2017
  • If you’re a national of a non-EU country, and not studying at the University of Edinburgh, you can apply for an international grant by 27th November 2017
  • Anyone can apply for a reduced rate, early-bird registration by 1st May 2018 (or full price by 4th June 2017)
  • Anyone in an EU country (including the UK right now!) can apply for an Erasmus + Mobility grant – info coming soon

Come along to this lunchtime session to find out more about applying through each of these routes and, if applying for a grant, how to make your application as competitive as possible.
