What are the bootcamps?
The bootcamps are part of the support and development programme given to all Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas performers. They are a chance to get tips from Edinburgh Fringe veterans, sound out ideas and polish your performance. If you’ve been through the bootcamp process before, please come along and pass on your learning to the new intake!
Why should I come to this first one?
This first bootcamp is a chance to find out exactly what’s involved in putting on a Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas show. It’ll also give you tips on coming up with a ‘hook’ that’ll draw a crowd. Even if you decide not to go ahead with the Fringe this year, you’ll develop your knowledge about engaging the public with research in an arts festival setting.
